Together with Marriott, ASFONA's primary goal has been to ensure that during the integration of Starwood's Brands in to the Marriott portfolio that the Starwood Legacy brands would continue to be positioned as leaders in the industry and that that they deliver the highest possible customer satisfaction levels.
The counsel and input of the ASFONA Board to the management team of Marriott during 2017 & 2018 integration was highly satisfactorily executed.
Going forward, ASFONA's primary Mission/Goal is the satisfactory implementation of the "Diversification Strategy" with the specific goal of establishing on behalf of its Board of Directors "informal" communications channels and mutually beneficial business relationships with all major Hotel companies and the brands they operate.
Also to be incorporated in the Mission/Goals is the continuation of an "informal" communications conduit with Marriott designed to maintain the ASFONA Boards "Owner/Operator input to Marriott regarding relevant business issues specifically to matters relating to the "Starwood Legacy Brands" and their continued success.
ASFONA has also committed to provide support to those organizations seeking both Federal & State "Covid Relief" & "Destination Marketing" funding through communications channels designed to engage with elected officials.
