Paul Wischermann is a creative business development strategist and seasoned hospitality industry executive. Wischermann founded Wischermann Partners in 2002, a specialized hospitality development, consulting and management firm. Currently, Wischermann is engaged in various high profile developments around the country. The project list includes high-end mixed-use developments, luxury hotels, conference center hotels and the execution of prototype hotels for the Sheraton, Westin, aloft and element brands.
The total development budget for Wischermann Partners of completed projects and developments in pipeline exceeds $1.5 billion. The project lists include the Sheraton Minneapolis Midtown Hotel, The Westin Minneapolis, Sheraton Duluth Hotel, Hotel IVY, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Sheraton St. Paul - Woodbury Hotel, The Westin Edina Galleria, W Minneapolis - The Foshay, aloft Minneapolis, aloft Edina, The Westin Ontario, and The Westin Houston Bay Area. Additional hotel projects are in pursuit in Minneapolis, MN, Bloomington, MN, New Brighton, MN, Madison, WI, Denver, CO, and Rochester, NY.
Prior, Wischermann served for eight years in senior executive positions with Carlson Hospitality Worldwide (CHW). As Senior Vice President, he conceptualized, financed and executed the complete business system development of an innovative lifestyle community concept. He was responsible for the execution of the prototype development, oversaw the development of product design, operational service standards and incentive programs. In addition, Wischermann pursued growth opportunities for Regent Hotels International and Radisson Hotels and Resorts Worldwide. Wischermann also introduced a subsidiary of CHW into the European marketplace, leading the development, operational and marketing implementation. Under his leadership, six full-service hotels were opened and operated within three years, initiating the brand expansion, now an integral part of Rezidor SAS Hospitality.
Wischermann's other experiences include a general manager position at the Parkhotel Oberhausen, and positions in Food and Beverage at the 2-Star Michelin Restaurant, "The Terrace" at The Dorchester Hotel in London and the 1-Star Michelin Restaurant, "Die Ente vom Lehel" at The Nassauer Hof in Wiesbaden, both members of the prestigious hotel group "Leading Hotels of the World".
