Fabric Innovations is an international supplier and drapery fabricator specializing in global procurement of products for prestigious luxury hotels. She started in the hospitality industry as part of her family’s 47 year old manufacturing business.
She has been the National Sales Representative for Virginia Quilting Commercial (VQC) since 1997 and is responsible for all the company’s operations including sales, marketing, design, quality control, finance and strategic development. Under her guidance, VQC was named a national Marriott vendor, the branded vendor of ALOFT hotels, the Sheraton National Specified Manufacturing Vendor, Four Points by Sheraton National Fabric and Fabrication Specified Vendor and supplier to the most prestigious design firms in the world.
In 2007, Deborah was honored by the National Congressional Council for Small Business as South Florida’s Small Business of the Year. She credits her success to hard work and determination, qualities that are equally apparent in her commendable list of personal achievements.
Deborah graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s degree in fine art. As an active member of the Miami Community, she is well know for her dynamic philanthropic efforts and is widely admired for her mentorship of young business women.
In recognition of an exceptional career as President of Fabric Innovations, Deborah Herman Romano, is included in the 2008/2009 Princeton Premier Registry alongside the most prominent business leaders and professionals of every industry around the globe.
In the future, Deborah has business plans for continued growth of both Fabric Innovations and Virginia Quilting Commercial and plans to increase their positions within the international markets.
